Restaurants today are not only a place where you can have food and got served but also a place where people can socialize, get entertained as well. So, to ensure the success of the business, you have to design the experience with all attributes, including the food, music, furnitures, the ambiance as well as social connections, contributions to the society etc. etc.All according to the expectations of your customers (even “the other customers around at the venue” should be considered as part of the design) and other stakeholders (investors, vendors, the society).

Retail business, food in particular, is growing with an enormous speed. In addition to that, various commercial incentives, funds and venture structures are also instrumental elements for businesses to start or expand their current business and flourish from out of Europe.

Reports and Surveys (of ING, Deloitte, Business Insider, Euromonitor,The Economist) indicate a clear evolution in the customer trends, including food service industry.Although all signs show a great opportunity in “the design of the experience”, businesses have not yet evolved from the traditional approach of “architectural creativity” which only deals with the physical environment but fails to cover the “Experience Design”.

A glance at the Europe has shown that there are offices in, the UK and Italy that are focusing on the “Experience Design” but not yet in the Benelux region or other European countries where we see a great opportunity. While Holland with its fast pace and promising retail growth offering a good kick start, Belgium on the other hand is a totally virgin territory.

This is the reference of our motivation for QUARTET business model: to address this need. We want to be one of the front-runners in our line of business in Europe.
